Now, this is a story you are probably familiar with, insofar as the "official" versions go--but all of you probably know that in April of 1789, I suddenly took off with Prince Lichnowsky on a strange journey to Berlin. We made many side trips, I got my picture taken, I took a small commission for some chamber music from the King of Prussia, and---oh, yes! There is a wee problem of around four weeks in which I wrote no letters and communicated with no one. This, of course, gave rise to much speculation for two hundred years.
This is, of course, only the "Official" story. What really happened, in fact, is far more interesting.
You must first understand that Prince Karl Lichnowsky was actually Special Agent 69 of the Society of Horus, and NOT a rich, hedonistic playboy after all, as his Cover would suggest. Furthermore, the journey to Berlin was naturally a ruse for a very difficult secret mission that was destined to take us everywhere from revolutionary France to the Valley of the Kings itself.
The full chronicles of this story is being written down in detail elsewhere, but suffice it to say that I learned a great deal about the wicked and insidious plots to destroy all music and to dominate the world with confusion, misinformation, and a lot of tecnical difficulties hitherto unimaginable. Sometimes, I suspect that Sphinxoids had much to do with the creation of the Internet.
To your left, you no doubt will see a picture of Agent 69 and myself in Egypt. The things I learned there were enough to make one's wig spin and the hairs on my head stand up straight. I was able to view and even partially explore the Mothership (better known to you as the Pyramid of Cheops), and we even acquired a general plan oif the ship's blueprints -- very helpful in understanding our enemy.
If you wish to view the mothership and some of its secrets, you must go here.
This is Agent 69 and myself, examining
a number of curious secret messages left for us in the Valley of the Kings not far from the Lair of the Sphinxoids. It was written in hieroglyphs, of course, which I had learned to read from Agent F's personal manual. This particular message read the following:
