Something New and Different
These exciting pictures were taken by Special Agent  A.L. at a Toy Soldier & Miniature show held in Atlanta GA, in February of 2001.  The exquisite miniature was hand sculpted from a variety of materials, and the harpsichord is about ten inches long.  How would you like to have this in you dollhouse?  Hmmm.  There is a joke on the "Mozart Jokes" page that reminds me of this one.

Anyway, it depicts me as I might have looked during my tour of Italy when I was thirteen or fourteen.  The pictures not not, of course, do the figure justice, but each string of the harpsichord was individually strung, and the tiny music papers were meticulously hand drawn.

The artist was a gentleman by the name of Ken Mezines.

Aside from the forgivable lack of knowledge of my close-to-the-keyboard playing technique, it is an almost faultless piece.  The face is a good likeness of me at that awkward age -- and I especially love the red, gold-laced tricorn.  Papa would have paid a pretty penny for one like it.

The internet is filled with wonderful examples of Mozart art,
most of which is available for everyone's use.
But not everything actually is available to the public.

I deeply regret to say that it has come to my attention that
some of The Mozart Cafe's original images
have been "borrowed" from this website without my permission.
The Mozart Cafe has many unique items,
including exclusive photos, exclusive artwork and web graphics, and these should not appear anywhere else.
If you find these original pieces anywhere online, and they are not credited to The Mozart Cafe, then you will know why there are graphics guards ao this website.

All Broken Links are now in the process of being corrected,
