This is an original first-edition copy of Leopold Mozart's "Violinschule" textbook, kept under glass at the Mozarthaus Museum in Augsberg, Germany.  it is one of several rare treasures housed there, including one of the family pianofortes.  At this museum, you can also buy a recording of a performance of one of Leopold's piano sonatas, played upon this delicate old instrument.

The book is larger than you might think, and at the sme time smaller.  This is in excellent condition, with only slight age discoloration of the pages.  The printing is in sepia tones, and may have been printed by Alois Mozart himself.  It is quite exquisite.
